Book Review: He Chose the Nails

He Chose the Nails: What God Did to Win Your Heart
Max Lucado

Do you ever take time to reflect on what Jesus did for you? Have you stopped to think about what exactly His dying for your sins meant and means? Max Lucado has crafted a beautiful collection of essays on just that.

These essays are a perfect length for daily devotional reading or for reading as a small group. One could even read them out loud in a group setting if desired. Complete with reflection questions at the end, this piece would lend itself well to small group use.

Lucado's style is personable and easy to read, making this book accessible to those at a variety of places on their spiritual and educational journeys.  Interspersed with engaging anecdotes and personal stories, this book is easy to get lost in,

This is all around a wonderful book that I will be recommending to several people in my life.

The spiel: I was given a copy of this book by the publisher so I could review it. I didn't have to say anything nice,  I just genuinely liked the book.
